TitanX Engine Cooling AB is looking for an SQAD Engineer with experience of supplier quality assurance, to lead strengthen and develop the Supplier Quality Assurance Development in Linköping plant.

About the role

SQAD department is a function within Purchasing that works with System/ product Quality Assurance & Development towards our suppliers and their quality systems. The Linköping SQAD Engineer reports to the SQAD Manager Europe, and functional to Linköping Quality Manager. This position is also part of the SQAD network in Europe (Mjällby, Opole, Linköping).

The Linköping SQAD Engineer key responsibilities are to manage the SQAD activities within Linköping and assure the implementation of our quality system, tools and methods towards our suppliers. Secure and develop our supplier quality and process improvements by training, supplier audits and workshops.

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and drive SQAD activities related to the Linköping plant

  • Follow up supplier quality performance and lead continuous improvement actions

  • Plan and perform supplier visits, audits and assessments at supplier sites

  • Coordinate and lead supplier audits, assessments and improvement workshops

  • Drive corrective action processes and ensure effective root cause analysis

  • Participate in Plant QRQC and Project QRQC meetings

  • Coordinate incoming inspection processes and follow-up activities

  • Maintain and develop routines, standards and working methods within SQAD

  • Prepare and follow up SQAD KPIs, reports and performance indicators

  • Participate actively in the European SQAD network

Requirement profile:

           

  • Technical Bachelor degree or equivalent experience within engineering, quality or production

  • 2–5 years of experience within quality, production, purchasing or automotive industry

  • Good understanding of quality assurance methods and continuous improvement tools

  • Ability to work independently in a structured way

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Interest and ability to work with international suppliers and cultures                                                                    

 Additional information

  • The position is based in Linköping, Sweden.

  • The role involves international travel to supplier sites, estimated at approximately 50–70 travel days per year.

  • Full-time, permanent position.
